In about 1999, 2 founders went to meet the need of people in different areas, one had someone in need at Hillbrow and the other had someone in need at Rissik Street in Johannesburg.
Soon many lives were being touched both physically and spiritually as they ministered the love of God to each person. People were in appalling conditions; Rape and unemployment was high, parents had no skills, children of school going age had either dropped out of school or had never attended school and some had kids with their own stepfathers.
This resulted to the establishment of the centre, today the centre offers different skill development programs, feeding schemes and counselling.
The centre feed about 110 people and +/-50 kids per week, it trains 45 unemployed adults on shoe manufacturing and 120 young adults on computer skill per year, this depends on funding. It has a room to train and feed more.
